59th AGM at Naughtons in Parkville
The Parkville Association’s 59th annual general meeting was held in April at Naughton’s. We are very fortunate to be able to host our functions at our local hotel and thank them for their support. The meeting saw Rob Moore step down after 10 years as President. Attended by more than 70 members, and invited guests, both current Lord Mayor Nick Reece and former Lord Mayor Sally Capp spoke warmly in recognition of Rob’s dedicated work over the past decade. Members heard a thought-provoking address from guest speaker Reverend Professor Russell Gouldbourne, the new Warden of Trinity College. Existing and new members were voted onto the Parkville Association Committee. The usual door prize was gratefully provided by Nelson Alexander.
