After 10 years at the helm, at the AGM on 20 April 2026 Rob Moore retired as the President, to take a well-deserved rest, as he and Kereth settle into a new life in Carlton. Amongst many of his important legacies is the strong outwards-looking connections he forged with our neighbours, Melbourne University, Trinity College, Janet Clarke Hall, and Ormond College. He also instigated a closer working relationship with the City of Melbourne through quarterly meetings with the Mayor, senior officer, and all community liaison officers, to discuss common issues. For a roundup of his time as President, see the Inner City News column for 1 April 2026 https://www.innercitynews.com.au/farewell/
Also retiring from the committee was David McGregor, Treasurer for 12 years, who has headed for a new adventure in France.
Existing reappointed committee members are; Ray Osborne, President, Bruce Pertzel, Secretary, Frances Kinney, Treasurer, with Annie McGuire, Jared Dyson and Bruce Sutherland. Three new members were voted onto the committee, Ann Sullivan, Heather McPhee and Ray Ireson.
